Kennel LaRiesen’s guarantee to you as a puppy buyer:
As in any kennel defects can happen in our Giant Schnauzer puppies and we comply with the Dansk købelov samt Dansk Kennel Klubs regler.:
As a starting point you buy your puppy as a family pet, we give no guarantee for show results or lack of working results.
If your dog is proven HD result D or E on hips when reached 18 months, we refund 1/3 of the purchase price. (Refunding is due, when we have received HD-result in copy from Dansk Kennel Klub).
If your dog is proven status 3 on elbows when reached 18 months, we refund 1/3 of the purchase price. (Refunding is due, when we have received result in copy from Dansk Kennel Klub).
If your dog has tooth defects / missing teeth or incorrect bite when reached 15 months, we refund 1/3 of the purchase price. (Refunding is due, when we have received statement in copy from your veterinary and if it is proven caused by hereditary defects and not wrong handling of the puppy).
If your male dog is cryptochid / missing a stone when reached 1 year, we refund 1/3 of the purchase price. (Refunding is due, when we have received statement in copy from your veterinary).
If your dog has T4 when reached 3 years, we refund 1/3 of the purchase price. (Refunding is due, when we have received statement in copy from your veterinary saying that your dog was healthy and well, when the blood sample was taken and that the dog was not suffering from any other illness that caused the making of a test (fx having a virus or something like that).
If it shows that your dog has a hereditary eye disease when reached 3 years, we refund 1/3 of the purchase price. (Refunding is due, when we have received statement in copy from a veterinary who specializes in eye diseases in dogs (Niels Stadsvold Aarhus or Finn Boserup Holte, other attests will not be accepted.)
NOTE:
HD on hips or dysplasia on elbows can also be a result of wrong activating of your dog: A Giant Schnauzer is not allowed on stairs until reached 15 months. He must not run after a bike until reached 18 months. Jump or overload of joints and muscles cannot happen until reached 18 moths. It is your duty as a puppy buyer to respect these demands. It diminishes the risk of HD and other joint diseases while your dog is growing up.
You must feed your dog with quality basis dry pills, ask the vet. It is all wrong feeding your dog with leftovers from dinner; we breed dogs anno 2008 and not prehistoric.
A little puppy wants to play “pulling” games with toys and cloths. If you regularly play these games with your puppy, you risk teeth defects and incorrect bite. So do avoid you dog from playing this kind of bad activating. If he comes running with a cloth or anything similar, let him play alone, do not countermove.
If it shows that your dog suffers from a serious disease not described here and which demands immediately putting to sleep and you can show that the disease is hereditary and the life quality of the dog is not maintained, we would like to dialogue with you, your veterinarian and Dansk Kennel Klub BEFORE putting the dog to sleep.
If you for some reason cannot keep your dog/Giants Schnauzer bought from us, please contact us; we will help you find a new family. We do not refund the purchase price or give you a new puppy later if the reason of disposing your dog is sickness, divorce or stress at work or even if the dog does not fit in to your family. There may be many reasons to disposing your dog.
